Tyler Lowry
DATA SCIENTIST
I’m a first-year Data Science MS student at Texas A&M, where I’m doing graduate research on 3D spatial transcriptomics — building GPU-accelerated pipelines to analyze 43M-cell MERFISH datasets. Before grad school, I worked as an ML engineer building production forecasting systems, where I learned to care as much about the math being correct as the code running fast.
My background sits at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, and business. I paired a Data Science degree with an Accounting minor in undergrad, and that combination shapes how I approach problems. I’m most interested in applying rigorous statistical methods to real decisions in finance, operations, and anywhere messy data hides useful signal.
